Unconscious Bias: are you aware?
I would never have created a business out of video interviewing if I didn’t believe it was going to solve a problem.
Bias, has a very real impact on the success of my video interviewing business in terms of how my clients view and react to their candidate video interviews. Bias is in all of us and it seems to be a big ‘ask’ of human beings to put their biases to one side for a moment while recruiting because they are such a strong human characteristic. Does it even make sense to ask them to try?
But with diversity, equality and inclusion hot on the agenda of most businesses, what is the true impact on the bottom line and what are companies doing to move diversity from policy to reality?
